On the grounds of a historic finca, participants are initially greeted by an experienced beekeeper and outfitted with professional beekeeping suits to discover beekeeping up close. Guests will then be guided around the property, learning about the important aspects of beekeeping, organization within the bee swarm, and local honey production. As a highlight of the experience, guests get to take on the role of beekeeper and experience the bees up close. Together with a professional beekeeper, a beehive is opened and a honeycomb is removed.
