Born in Denmark, Line grew up in Kenya and South Africa. She is a graduate in Anthropology from the University of Cape Town and has a Masters degree in International Development Studies form the University of East Anglia. After her studies she proceeded to work for Amnesty International in India and the Red Cross in France. From 2000 - 2003 Line spent time working in Brussels, first within the Cabinet of Humanitarian and Development Aid and later for a PR consultancy. During this time she founded the South African company "Heaven Must Wait Travel" and three years later the Spanish firm LifeXperiences SL together with Philipp. Line then returned to her passion for development and charity work and co-founded the foundation betterplace.org and most recently published the book Remarkable South Africans in 2010. For LifeXperiences she remains the contact for Scandinavian clients, alongside being a mother of two and a world traveller.
